perhaps

arguably not as bad as whoring out (appalling phraseology very sorry) the tradition of a club by allowing sponsors to "rename" the ground (e.g. sportsdirectdotcom arena or whatever it is). the naivety of sheff utd getting caught up in the local pride of the olympics and jessica ennis was just that. none of them could have foreseen the outcome of events.

sheff utd could have foreseen the likely eventuality of re-employing ched evans though. if they do. one would have thought.
