I say that Sheffield United simply wanted to bask in the reflected glory of her achievements. Football clubs have no real business naming stands after sportspeople who have nothing to do with football. It was purely about PR and image etc etc.

Now, against a backdrop of a club doing all they can behind the scenes to reintegrate a convicted rapist, their empty puff publicity gesture is biting them right on the derriere.
