It was my opinion that dropping Tettey and playing Johnson ahead of him was a dodgy decision unless Tettey had some injury.

Adams has confirmed that was not the case he just chose to play Johnson as his "sitter."

This has strengthened my opinion that it was a dodgy decision.

Adams obviously did not say it was a dodgy decision. He obviously thinks it was a reasonable decision.
