We aren't - I have a theory

I actually wonder if i response to the negative style last season Hughton was told from above to play more positively this season. We duly signed two strikers from clubs near the top of their leagues that create plenty of chances rather than a big lumpy workhorse more suited as a lone striker having to wait for support. Unfortunately having spent a big chunk of the budget on them we couldn't afford the quality of creative midfielders needed to make it work, and ended up trying to play attacking football with poor-passing midfielders (Tettey & Johnson particularkly stand out here). Trying to run before we could walk if you will...
