build on the work that Lambert and Hughton have done, but I'd want to see someone with better credentials than the names suggested throughout most of this season (Mackay, Lennon, Solskjaer etc).

Taking aside the subjective arguments about style and entertainment though - if we stay up this season, he will have done a decent job overall. To stabilise a club with one of the lowest wage bills in the league is a decent achievement, and he has also brought in several very promising long term signings (Fer, Olsson, Redmond, Hooper).

The bit about Stalinists I obviously don't really mean, was just parodying what Dennis wrote.
