and the one that jumps on the newbie, for a number of reasons as well

Why socialise with someone who hasn't learnt the job yet? Not exactly fair is it?

They might have just moved to the area and need some space whilst they're settling in. Why would I chat away about how comfortable I am, or how the boiler being broken has bummed me out a bit. They've got bigger things on their plate to care about the boiler in their first week

Do you reckon morons care about that whilst they're talking about themselves? :)
