If so, would be Gerrard and Lampard in the middle (sigh), Milner and Wellbeck on the flanks (Rooney and Sturridge through the middle).

Highlights what England really lack - that truly creative midfield player. A Mata or a Silva. When did we last have one of those? Gazza?

I think that's our biggest problem, really. (And not one you can blame Roy for.)
