You do wonder if the whole paedo culture is much wider than we imagine

thus helping him to cover it up. Otherwise surely, someone, somewhere would have done the decent thing. Some of the celebs coming out now after the event to say they knew the rumours at the time were not small time stars they were major BBC presenters. There is no way that if they had come forward the BBC could have got away with sacking them for it or making their careers nosedive.

As for the hospitals and the charities yes they may have been protecting funding sources but surely there are too many good people who work in the NHS to allow a blind eye to be turned to that sort of thing?

This is of course believing that all these stories are true but there just seem to be too many stories out there with too much consistency and too much circumstancial evidence for it to all be rubbish.
