Reading the latest Jimmy Saville stuff today

I just simply cannot get my head round why, if it was as widely known as it appears to be, someone somewhere did not shop him. It's not like he was the king or prime minister or something. He made enjoyable but naff kids tv shows.

Today's story is about him allegedly molesting a nine year boy in his Jim'll fix it dressing room. In his account the man says that whilst it was going on a BBC employees opened the door and started to come in before seeing what was going on and simply saying "oh" and shutting the door. In what f**king universe does that employee not go to the authorities? Staggering, simply staggering.

As for these ex celebs who turned a blind eye at the time now coming out and expressing their disgust they also need to take a long hard look at themselves.

Finally, am sure thus us WW2 but for anyone who hasn't, google Irvine Welsh "Lorraine to Livingston." scary.
