I am more convinced than ever that Holloway is right and Mick Dennis is wrong.

Let me just state, I like Mick a lot, I think he is mostly spot on with his views.

The Holloway opinion starts at 5:22

He called out Holloway for theatening to walk.

He even suggested the PL call his bluff and take action.

The problem is his opinion was clearly based on anger at the fact Holloway got the nark with his fellow journos rather than the actual FACTS of the

situation.

Clearly a clouded opinion as obviously Holloway being a jerk is totally unconnected with his right to change the team how he sees fit.

The facts are that if the PL charge Hollaway they are potentially opening a huge can of worms.

Firstly lets look at the written rule as per the PL.

E.20 states
"In every League Match each particpating club shall field a full strength team"

That is so vague as to be laughable. They need to state exactly what they mean by this.

Who is to say that the 18 players picked against Villa gave them the best chance of getting something from the game?

If thats the case then THAT is his full strength team

It's his strongest available team on that given night.

Most of the players he used were experienced or in some cases MORE experienced than the players they replaced.
He did not bring in the youth squad.

Also to compare that situation with the Wolves/Man Utd situation is erroneous in my opinion.

Wolves clearly threw in the towel and thought they had no chance of getting anything.

This just wasn't the case here, Blackpool had already gotten some decent away results.
Villa were no tougher on paper than the games they had won especially with their recent run of injuries.

Does the PL now decide which 11 of his 25 man squad is stronger that the other 13.............

We are now getting into a dangerous position where the PL could potentially be dictating who a manager can and can't play?

What is the point of having a 25 man squad rule when you clearly are not allowed to use them as you see fit.

If the PL charge him they need to state EXACTLY how many changes are too many.

Are 5 changes OK but 10 too many?

where is the line?

Who judges the quality of the replacement player?

If Holloway changes all the players back again (10 changes) will he be in breach again if nobody can decide which is his strongest 11?

The fact Man Utd clearly did the rest thing and went unpunished, Harry gets away with threats after Ref bashing...................

Yet Wolves get charged and Holloway looks like he is being asked to explain by the PL.

It just smells of big club bias?

Before you think "so what", one day Norwich could be in the PL.

I think it's important to defend the smaller clubs because they already have such a huge financial disadvantage.
