(more defensive tactics maybe?, better defensive players? worse attacking players? football's lesser lights playing better than they've previously managed? a combination of all the above? dunno, but i know it's a damned bit more complicated than professional footballers not being able to adjust the strength with which they need to kick a football. are the same balls used for the Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup, Premier League, Football League and the Wafer Cup? no they're not. why the f**k don't the whinging c**ts moan then?)
