If you believe the rumours. The fact that they were really pumping the advertising both nationally and locally would suggest that they were struggling.

I believe the seats story is just a way for all parties involved to save face. The club and promoter wouldn't have wanted to lose money and Jones wouldn't have wanted the embarassment of selling only 20% of the tickets.

While I admit that it's bound to have cost us something; it's hardly something to really beat the club over, which is what you're doing.

Find some other examples of their supposed underperforming in the last 12 months and I'll be more impressed.
