Credit to Lambert...........

The guy has constantly been two moves ahead every time.

Every time he signed a player this year there was some scratching of heads yet virtually all apart for Elliot have been pretty successful.

Lambert doesnt come accross well in interviews because he tends to pick his words carefully and normally says the same stock answers.

Obviously from his actions in the transfer market and his ability to change various formations he thinks very deeply about the plan going forward.

One of the things not mentioned much about Lambert in the press is the fact that he without doubt one of the best managers we have ever had in using his substitutes in terms of who and the timing of the subs.

He seems to read the flow of the game so well.

He seems to know when to play safe but also take a chance (three accross the back) to win a game.
