The fact he brought in Whitbread was a sure sign he didnt fancy all the current CBs at the club.

I also agree that his wages are probably a big factor.

With so many free agents out there we might pick up some quality with the money we free up.

Plus we have Stephens on loan at Lincoln coming through who looks a beast of a CB for the future.

Mc veigh was more of a suprise because he was always around the squad and his wages must have been really small after being let go by Luton.

I actuallyb expect this to be the first round of axings.

Its not certain Rusty will stay. OTJ and Wiggins look like they could be on their way if someone wants them.
Gill didnt sound certain he will still be here next year.

I also think its still possible we could lose Nelson if Lambert were to pick up another quality CB
