The comparison with Megson & Deehan is a weird one;
Megson took a good side and turned it into dogs**t.
Deehan took over the Titanic about 10 seconds before the iceberg hit. He could see it, he knew it was coming, and he knew that the captain was not going to change ghis course, but he took on the job anyway.

Gunn was the victim of a freak result on day one, coupled with the appt of a CEO who wanted to make a point.

Whatever else this season tells us, Gunn had assembled a very strong squad that had the capacity to do very well. I suspect he is bitter because he feels he wasn't given a chance.
