I thought that interview he did with the Grauniad a while back alluded to a 'quieter' side. And as I've mentioned on here before we were reading a programme from Histon where it said that he'd spent time with their academy boys - (Kit Carson connection) - again there was no publicity in local papers which you'd probably have with most other prem players.
Strikes me that if anyone wants to point to a player and say 'that nasty man smacked me' they think Bellamy's easy game. But I reckon there are a lot out there who are a lot worse.
