The problem is

that Lambert is replacing Doherty with Michael Nelson.

Nelson is nowhere near as good as Docs, whatever people say. After that we only have Jens and Spillane as options at CB - unless we can bring in a quality CB to partner Jens (with Spillane as back up), freezing out the Doc is a big mistake imo, because Nelson simply is not good enough.
