Techy help needed!! I've buggered up my computer...

I was trying to install some RAM into my PC last night (bought it as the type of RAM compatible with the exat make and model of my PC, so shouldnt be compatibility issues)

Took the cover off... dust everywhere... clicked the RAM into place. Tried to boot up - nothing. Power came on, it tried to access the HDD for ages, but nothing. Couldnt even turn it off.

Brushed the majority of dust off motherboard with a soft brush, but not hoovered it out yet.

Took the RAM out, tries to boot again... still nothing - power on but no-one home.

Brushed the dust out a bit more with said soft brush, tried again. Sometimes power comes on for 5 seconds, then turns itself off. Power button doesnt work - taking the power cord out then in again makes it come on automatically! But then turn off again after 5 secs.

WTF have I done to it?! I am going to hoover the dust out of every orifice in it, but am wondering if there is something else bigger i have done...
