try this

how many sticks of ram do you have running if u have more than one stick of ram take all of the sticks out and try one single piece try to boot. if this doesnt work try the same piece of ram in another ram slot do this in all the available ram slots try and boot after each try

do the same above with all the sticks of the ram if it boots u have a faulty piece of ram somewhere find which and leave out

make sure they are in the slots fully as they are sometimes firm to push in you should open the clip on the ram slot and push the ram down untill the clip closes on its own

if this doesnt work you can also try ressetting the cmos you can do this different ways depending on the motherboard

1. take out the battery leave for a few mins then put bk and try booting

2. there may be a jumper switch move the jumper so it covers the last to pins on the board then put bk to how it was

if this fails there is a very good chance either the mother board . processor or a combination of both have died
