Hold a dinner party.

Invite several members of your office including the tech support guy. Whilst everyone is enjoying an apperitiff, casually mention to the office tech support guy that you're glad he could make it and tell him you've just downloaded an alternative ending to Return of the Jedi and ask him if he'd like to take a look. After failing to boot your PC up, tell him that it was working okay before. He'll get it working again and will not suspect that it is all a cunning ruse.
