Here's my groat's worth

One of the comments made by Blackpool fans is that the oppo defenders had started to find him out. When I've seen him he is great on the ball but seems to hold on to it too long (hence my previously-posted ditty) as the defenders come on to him - so it all goes a bit pear-shaped - think this has been where he's been exposed in his backtracking too. He plays best when he does his quick pinging because I do think his passing is top rate - but he has to act quickly. So I think this is the nub - if he delays then defenders find him easy pickings.

As a result I fear he may be one of those players where we have to look at everyone else around him to make them fit in with his style of play - ie lots of off-the-ball movement, which as a team we've never been terribly smart at!
