Exactly, if IF he was dropped for being late, doesn't mean there has to be a bust up

Quite easy to explain the decision rationally, give the lad assurances "still part of the plans" etc etc but let him know the rules have got to be stuck to.

Would he be gutted? I bloody well hope he would be, doesn't mean he can't take the decision like a mature professional.
