Could have put Brennan on for Charlton though & shifted Hucks inside. I'm not saying any of that would have worked; but it might have confused Coventry a bit. I'm sure that's why Worthy put Thorne on; but it's futile unless he's getting a good service. Personally, I'd have thought putting Colin on for Marney and moving LJ to right wing would have been better - as we did against Inter, which I hear worked OK. It's just that there are many options and - it seemed to me - Worthy chose the worst one.
