He doesn't seem to be able to change a game in progress

Two seasons ago, his half-time talks seemed to make a big difference after several poor first halfs - trouble is we seemed to have a half-decent first half yesterday ... Seems that Worthy has a single game plan and that if it fails our only option is to continue futilely or lump the ball to Ashton or Thorne - or both.

To a certain extent, everybody has sussed Huckerby - put two men on him and that's our main threat silenced. Theoretically that should leave a gap elsewhere that can be exploited. So why aren't we? Now we have a right winger, that ought to be one option. Switching Hucks to the other side might help, even if he's not so effective there. Yesterday he could have gone more central and switched Charlton (or Brennan to the left). Not sure if any of those would have worked, but it'd have mixed things up a bit and confused his markers.
