that's my point. You can't just look at one aspect.

The fact is we are now an average Championship team, which is where you would expect us to be given our size and resources if the board did a reasonable job.

The Championship winning season was punching above our weight. We aren't punching below it. So the club has more pluses than minuses to its name in recent history (last year we had the turmoil of a managerial change and had our main striker injured for half a season so can be reasonably written off as an exception).

So in context the club have not been doing as badly as some like to make out.
