Totally Agree.

I don't hold many footballers with any regard or respect, due to their general, folk the fans give me the £££ attitude.
I do have repect for footballers who are loyal (Hucks) work damn hard (Holt, Hughes) or are 'at one' with the fans when they play (David Neilsen), it adds to the fun.

Its egg chasing country here and I watch a lot of Rugby and League, in general the players have more respect to the fans. I found when I watched the now defuct NZ Knights last year, it was the Kiwi players giving the 'high fives' out of the tunnel to the fans, the English players seemed to have this air of aloofness about them
