Well yes.

But when was the last time there was a huge terrorist attack on the UK?

Just because there has been one (well seven, I guess) today doesn't mean that it will become more frequent or that we will have to live in fear from now on.

Obviously, todays events were terrible, and I would like to express my deepest sympathy to anyone remotely affected by those events, but I feel that this is a wakeup call.

I think that these events will give us an opportunity to make the world a better place, and will also bring the nation closer together as a whole (if it hasn't already).

I know it's difficult to find any positives from such an horrendous event, but I believe we will learn to live with these memories, move on and learn from what has happened today to change things for the better in the future.
