And promotion meant a doubling of the wage bill and then after relegation the wage bill was hardly reduced (meaning, incidentally, that we replaced good with mostly bad *on the same wages*) and we'll find out in about 8 months how much they've been on this year. And then stadium improvements ... And it took 600k to get rid of Worthington. But, it still astonishes me that we've managed to turn a 8-9m debt into 18-19m while receiving about 20m+12m (parachutes) - somehow we've spent 40m in the last three and a half seasons!

These are remembered figures, Creo and financebod have a much better handle on where the lucre has gone
