Mixing different RAM speeds gives you the bad AIDS

These days, it is generally regarded as best to have your RAM in matched pairs, one on each channel. However, as you're still using older stuff, that shouldn't be a huge problem - until you add in the different speeds!

I can't go into more details without looking stuff up, but do you have a model number for your motherboard (MS-****, where * = digit)?
