same here,

i went to midnight mass on xmas eve (albeit not through choice) with the future inlaws (I hate how manipulative my missus can be). Now i hate churches but my girlfriend asked me to go (saying it would mean a lot to her etc). I thought ok, i can deal with this, all i need to do is walk in and stand there, say nothing to anyone and it'll all be over soon. Plan went well until the end when some bloke who was a cureit(not sure of spelling) started talking to me. At first he was polite, i asked him to take his hand off my knee, but then he started to preach. "You should follow God, believe in him, celebrate him. Something big is coming soon, i can feel it. You must pray for our lord." At this point the demon in my head takes over. So I got up and calmly as i could walked out before i said something to offend, which is unlike me ;-)

The point is i dont preach to them or attack them with my views so why is it ok for them to do it "in the name of God".
