Fair enough, but worthy signed all those players
and had so many resources available to him to mould a good team, and for me, screwed it up big time
I aren't sure how many more managers we'll have with that kind of funding but I hope Worthy's support isn't a one off
Worthy proved how stubborn and set in his ways he was by refusing and dismissing sutton when he wanted to come back here. Worthy didn't want a character here, he didn't want someone to come in and be popular with the fans and dressing room.
All the things he complained about from the players he ignored when looking for players. Probably why he let malky go
If worthington had gone end of last season you could look back in hindsight and reflect about all the good things
Instead, he made an even bigger mess of things this season and has plunged us further down. Grants floating the ship at the moment very imo.
My problem with the next two games is I think we'll win them both and be back in a false position that makes us look strong for the play offs. The next time we play badly/to the standard of the squad out there, it will all be Grants doing for being inexperienced again
