hughes was meant to be the new holt
He was a good player (at the time) for a team who eventually got promotion that season. I'm also under the impression that they didn't want to let him go. He was meant to a younger fitter gary holt, who in my opinion was the unsung hero of our promtion year and Worthy knew that. I just feel sorry for a guy who was sacked because of these players who should have been good, and may well turn out to be.
