Disagree with some

Heckingbottom was clearly only ever here as cover for left back. He did this well enough when called upon but never took the first team spot from Drury (and wasnt expected to). Hardly a failure. Ditto Crichton, Briggs, Ward and maybe even Brennan.

MLJ and Emblen don't count as between them theyve played about twice due to injury.

Personally I thought Helveg was excellent (mostly) and should have been played much more. Our near escape was largely due to him.

Easton was excellent for the money and his contribution to our playoff season made him well worth 100k. Rivers contributed and wasn't a failure but wasnt a success either.

Neilson and Svenny were sucesses without question given their contributions and the money that was spent.

The loans let him down badly.

Personally I don't think its in th etransfer market where worthy has failed. Last years dealings didn't pay off quickly enough though. I suspect dickson and robinson (maybe even hughes) may be successes yet but not in time to save worthy.

OK jonson, hughes thorne + jarrett failed (so far).
