I have a bit of a problem with this whole 'back-up' stuff

You should always try and buy players that add strength to your squad. Why should this particular first XI be so sacred? Competition for places is crucial and just because Leon threw his toys out of the pram doesn't mean others would. We are playing well at the moment but it really is built on foundations of sand. Two injuries? Big problems.

Keeping a squad of talented players happy is one of the arts of management. Does NW not have the bottle?
