the make up of the ball is a integeral part of the game the shinning of one side to get movement through the air and the seam to get movement of the pitch keeps the batsmen guessing and makes it the game it is a moulded ball with no seam would destroy a large part of the game ,cheating is bought on by outside pressures on the players to succeded at any costs
