Crowds at county games have always been s**t

overall interst in cricket is up BECAUSE people like games like 20/20 where the ball gets belted to all corners.

Interest in test cricket is up BECAUSE of the way the Aussies changed the game by faster scoring, and higher scoring.

It's a batsman's game, and that's how it should be.
