That's the other one I ever read, apart from Johnny Rogan's book on The Smiths.

Both when I was 16. The Joy Division book is a very, very good read, mind. Raises far more questions than it answers about Curtis' psychology and (particularly) his romantic dealings, and there's very little of life with the band - fascinating stuff ...
