that has some merit
improving the quality of the group by eliminating the people that are sitting on their hands and not contributing and with the benefit of possibly snagging a traitor. your proposed strategy would change the objective from; "who is a traitor?" to which contestants are helping us make good decisions, and which are making that harder?
for me the cars are a fascinating part of the shows design, they create microcosms where players are initmately put together where they can't be oveheard or observed so they have a false sense of security in some ways and can plant theoris or observe interactions that can be taken away and discussed with others and create a polarisation of the group. this would naturally undermine the weeding out of the bad faithfulls tactic for me clive.
