orchard trees looking full of promise so far esp pears. blueberries now ripening but i never get any as grandson scoffs them all. strawberries very poor. if this heat keeps up could be in for some nice figs. not been down to check the goosegogs or raspberries for a few days. don't bother with blackberries as there's a massive specemin blackberry hedgerow on the dogwalk that yields a bumper crop every year for the whole village.
