It’s a classic case of us jumping to conclusions before we know what’s happened.

It sounds like an awful situation for all involved. I also feel for the carers, many of them woefully undertrained and in difficult situations. There’s a home near us and every day there’s carers walking residents from the home in a rural location along verges to the local town. I don’t know what the problem is with the person they are accompanying, and I’ve never seen anything happening, but invariably the carers look as if they couldn’t physically handle the person if there was a situation. They were also expected to walk these residents on the road, with no hi-viz, a couple of miles each way, often in low light and on a reasonably busy country lane.
Back to the incident, it did remind me of that awful incident at the Tate Modern a few years ago.
Just hope this lad is ok.
