what was going on under the bonnet so to speak, but mark attanasio and co can't be that bad a judge of character to invest a big chunk of change in and leave the entire thing in the hands of an incompetent. i know they have openly admitted that they know very little about football but it's not as if they are some hollywood fillum stars or tech billionaires they have a solid track record running a big sports franchise. so i didn't really get on the we want knapper out choo choo.

as others have said, some signings click and some don't for whatever reason and even big phil said that he was impressed with ali ahmed's attitude in the dressing room because you don't really know things like that before you sign them.
