But when he was appointed we were a to six side in this league. We are where we are now due to 2 failed head coach appointments. That's on him and no one else.

Clement looks like being a master stroke. It could be argued that we got him down to timing rather than astute planning. He wasn't available in the summer due to surgery and was only ready to get back into management around the time Manning was sacked. It's a superb appointment but I'd say he's lucked out a bit.

If I was the Attanasios, I'd still be looking to review Knapper in the summer. He's set us back 18 months to 2 years in progression.
