which I'm assuming all footballers do, life expectancy will be higher than at birth because you've already survived infancy / childhood disease etc.

Every year you survive, your life expectancy must be a little higher than it was the year before as you've survived the risk of mortality for another 12 months.

Dunno how much higher though.
