No way can we ever rely on refs to spot this stuff at the time. Don't understand the reluctance to punish players retrospectively for this kind of thing. And bans have to be the answer - certainly make more the sense than the bans players are gonna get for the rest of this tournament for a couple of slightly mistimed tackles in differrent matches (eg Zidane's booking at the end of the game last night. Ridiculous that he may well end up missing a massive game because of that.)
