Thierry Henry overtakes Van Bommel

Players from all over the globe compete in a gruelling month-long trial of diving, falling, simulating injury, face-clutching, rolling on the ground, shin-holding, grimacing, conning, and general all-round faking to gain the honoured title. The current holder is Rivaldo but standards this year are very high and look certain to set a new mark. Early favourite Arjen Robben has been a huge disappointment to his fans, but team-mate Van Bommel showed him how it was done by crumpling to the ground and remaining there for three minutes after the briefest of contacts with Figo's forehead. However, Henry snatched the lead for France last night, hurling himself into Puyol before falling backwards and clutching his face (which had been in contact only with air).

The winner of WOTB "Cunt of the Tournament" will receive this coveted tattoo as a treasured memento.
