You can't just frame NFL as having 'no jeopardy'

It's sport and supporters want their team to win just as much as we do. They just happen to be looking up, not both up and down.

As for 'the majority just want to see a winning team', that's largely true but also a bit simplistic. The facilities and overall matchday experience should be as pleasurable as possible and supporters would be the first to complain if it wasn't.

And, of course, the point of all this is to generate revenue to help build a team more likely to win games.
