The defending for their goals

Having watched back the Wrexham goals again its hard to believe just how bad the defending was.

Obviously Cordoba was a shambles but to be fair to him he's not a left back and it showed. We need to fast track Mahovo back.

Of more concern to me though is that whilst he has improved in some ways, Medic still looks like a midfielder playing at CB - which is what he is. Because of that he does not yet have the instinctive movements of a centre back which can lead to balls being played in behind him very easily. This might be something you cope with if you have 3 other, positionally disciplined defenders alongside him but when you have Cordoba on one side and then also Stacey on the other its asking for trouble. I like Stacey, i think he's great going forward and in this team one of our main threats but positional discipline has never been his strength and I just wonder whether we can therefore risk this combo whilst Medic is still settling in. I think we may need to play a specialist centre back if we want to continue with Stacey bombing down the right.
