Point about Rough sleepers

We have the resources and the hostel places for them not to be on the streets (in Cardiff, but also I believe elsewhere).

There are lots of other factors at play - mainly the lack of effective mental health provision which puts vulnerable people on the streets and leaves them unwilling to take the help available to them. (primarily concerns about their safety).

Point about the lack of money - there's both plenty (to do stuff) and not enough (to do everything). Much of the mainstream ranting about the public sector neglects to mention/understand that the public sector is underesourced (for what people want from it), and that a realistic discussion about what to cut is needed to decide how to fund it. The immigration debate isn't the cause, or the solution. (and Brexit has made it much harder to do anything about it, however it was sold).
