A lot would say Ballack is the driving force in the Bayern midfield, but Ballack is just another Lampard Gerrard etc, and Hargreaves is mopping up for him

I'd see your point about Gerrard if it worked, but Trinidad really showed up that duo when the opposition weren't difficult to beat

A lot was also made about Hargreaves against Hungary, yet it was 0-0 when he came on, and the game finished 3-1. I suppose people are going to harp on about Beckham in that game. Of course they are, he set the goals up, and goals make headlines

Gerrard and Lampard haven't commanded the midfield at this tournament, and that's the talking point about performances, until Gerrard bags a goal and everythings fine there, and now lampard is the problem

In reality, neither are really the problem, just one of them needs to be dropped for a different type of player. If svens brave enough to do it,. he might do it
