He's a good player for sure

I just think that if sven lets gerrard and lampard have a free role and lets cole and beckham play their game too then he will need a very good defensive midfielder to protect the back four.

I just dont think it is carrick thats all. We will see what happens, and lets hope whoever plays there does the job well.
